MOCHEL Fanny

Le Professeur Mochel dirige le Centre de Référence Maladies Rares (CRMR) Leucodystrophie Adulte Paris et le CRMR Neurométabolique Adulte Paris. La thématique centrale de sa recherche est de comprendre et traiter les dysfonctions métaboliques du cerveau ainsi que les atteintes de la myéline, à partir de modèles de maladies rares dans une approche intégrative, translationnelle et interdisciplinaire.

Ses projets de recherche s’articulent autour de 3 axes :

• L’étude du neurométabolisme par l’intégration de données omiques (transcriptomique, métabolomique et lipidomique) et d’analyses d’imagerie multiparamétrique (volumétrie, spectroscopie RMN, tenseur de diffusion, élastrographie) ;
• L’identification et la validation de nouveaux traitements dans les maladies neurométaboliques et les leucodystrophies ;
• Une approche interdisciplinaire du neurométabolisme avec l’exploration des connexions entre physique et métabolisme dans les fonctions cérébrales.
